Dripping Heart

Dripping Heart

As I mentioned in yesterday’s post, it was quite warm for a one day, back in November – and, upon returning from our walk around the block, I found the water that was dripping off the garage formed a heart shaped puddle. Something like this only happens in my yard. If it happens to U, take a pic and send it in! A few weeks ago, someone asked me why I have this site, and what do I hope to do with it, the first thing that came to me was…  At one point in time, when anyone, anywhere, around the world sees a heart in something, whether they take a pic and send it in, or not, I want them to think of this site. What an honor that would be! Of course that can only happen if each and every one of U helps me make this happen – by simply sharing this site with others. Spread the word of...

Sunsets in my Heart

Sunsets in my Heart

When I was at ToyFair in NY – Genna introduced me to one of her friends/associates Ashley – when we were all out bowling the night before the last day of the Fair. I saw a heart and was asked “what was I taking a pic of” – as expected I said, I see hearts.  (U will be able to see the heart I found on “My Hearts” – when I finally catch up to all the backed up heart pics I have and not yet posted). The Next day, Ashley came by our Rubba Ducks booth to share with me this pic of the heart shaped sunset that was circulating on facebook.  I told her she made the site, and I would post it for her.   Coincidentally, when I returned home from the trip I found a message from Camille with this same pic. Basically, I received this sunset twice – it’s special pic indeed!!   Photo by...

Melting Ice Hearts

Melting Ice Hearts

It seemed like the whole month of November was below zero. Although I can recall one day before Thanksgiving, it was very warm. And, as I was walking Buckles around the block, when we came across these two hearts of melting ice. As always, Buckles waited for me patiently to take the perfect pic and then we proceeded...

Loving eggs at lunch

Loving eggs at lunch

Savannah sent me this pic a week or so ago, of her eggs she was having for lunch.  As U can see the heart shape in the yoke – no joke in the yoke! Savannah made it very clear to me, she had not intention of doing this, she just looked down about to cut in for another bite and saw it. What U think about, U bring about – and in this case – then U eat! Thanks Banana 🙂 Photo by Savannah...

Rubba Display

Rubba Display

Since I had given out Rubba Ducks for Halloween – a lot of the neighborhood kids have asked me where they can get the rest of the styles in the wave – besides buying them online. To make it easy for them, I contacted our neighborhood hardware store – asking to display and sell the Rubba Ducks in their store during the Christmas season. The weekend before Thanksgiving, when setting up the display in the store, I noticed the heart shaped chip in the shelf I was to put all the Rubba Ducks on. A great sign of good things to...
